Rasmea Oded and Kumbaya

It is truly amazing the continual gall and gullibility of  ordinary people in the world, especially Western leaders, to be consistantly bamboozled by the Lies and Liars of Falestine.
One truly has to wonder when will these "Kumbaya" whimps wake up and see the real story?
No wonder "John the beheader" of ISIS fame could not believe how easy it was for him to behead victim after victim while EX (TG) President Obama played golf.

In the latest chapter of bamboozlment, Prince William paid his expected visit to the "UNOCCUPIED" Ramallah headquarters, known as the Mukata of the Mahmoud Abbas crime syndicate otherwise known as the "Palestinian Authority".

While in the meeting place with the Godfather of the Palestinian Authority and unbeknownst to the "Little Prince" the cynical Palestinian leadership issued a "message" to it's people in Arabic- in every manner of communication - stating;
"We support anyone who murders a Jew and we will take care of their families if they are killed or imprisoned by Israel." 
Meanwhile, as they sat for the press Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas  "happily smiles and lies" to Prince William and other world leaders and dignitaries by stating in English:
"We are committed and "serious" in our desire to achieve peace with Israel and we are "committed" to combating terrorism."

While they are merrily chatting the Palestinian Authority issues a statment -albeit for local consumption in Arabic that;
"Palestinian prisoners are our national icons and symbols of defending freedom, our dignity while confronting oppression and subjugation."
The Palestinian government vowed that it would; "not abandon the prisoners and the families of the martyrs."

As I have pointed our countless times previously many readers and viewers of the world media do not get the truth of the conflict in the Middle East from "unbiased" news sources, These readers and viewers do not realize that they are not being told the "real story".
The actual unbiased truth is that these Arabs, who killed or maimed Jews, were killed by the Israeli army or police during the perpetration of attacks of "terrorism" on innocent civilians. These "Terrorists" are called shaheeds (martyrs) and are cast as role models to be copied and imitated by Palestinian youth in the media of the Palestinians whether in the Palestinian Authority of Hamas controlled UNWRA schools.

That these "martyrs" include Arabs who stabbed, ran over or blew themselves up during suicide bombings on civilian bus lines or in restaurants which murdered innocent civilians, Jews and some non-Jewish in Israel.

Of course, there is nothing new about the Palestinian tradition of glorifying the bloody murder of civilians young and old -Jewish Israelis who are ALL settlers to the terrorists.
Much has been said about the policy of naming schools and squares after these murderers in Palestinian cities, villages and refugee camps in Judea and Shomron aka the "West Bank" and the Gaza Strip.

However, this horrific honor of glorifying shaheeds (martyrs) is also being practiced by Palestinians descendants living abroad throughout the world.
The most widely know case is of Reem's Bakery in Oakland California with a mural of Rasmea Odeh.
Reem's Bakery in Oakland California and Rasmea Odeh have been lionized by anti-Zionists and and anti Israel Palestinian sympathizers.

Few of these bamboozled and brainwashed Liberals realize the truth behind the glorfication of Rasmea Odeh, who was honored and cherished by the epic member of the Nacba Tragedy Tourists, Linda Sarsour as well as Liberal leftwing feminist "Resistance" supporters like "anti-Zionist rabbis' Ellen Lippman and Barat Ellman.

These feminists claimed Oded, as; “a Palestinian woman who embodies the Palestinian history of dispossession, struggle and resilience.”

That these "supposedly intelligent" women and the Liberal Leftist backers at the time of the Media Covered demonstration ignored Oded's complicity in murder and terrorism and blissfully ignored and shuffled the story aside!

There was No show of remorse nor acknowledgement whatsoever that this cherished member of the feminist “resistance” an “icon of the Palestine liberation movement.” Rasmea had been an active  participant and organizer for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP).

They lie and ignore the well documated proof that Odeh confessed in a highly detailed account just one day after arrest, along with other co-conspirators, how she planted a bomb in a Jerusalem supermarket in 1969 that murdered Hebrew University students Leon Kanner and Eddie Joffe.
And that in cold calculation she had rigged a second device on a delay trigger at the SuperSol supermarket to go off when unarmed medic and rescue responders were to arrive. Luckly it was found and defused mere seconds before it was to go off.

Linda Sarsour, "anti-Zionist rabbis' Ellen Lippman and Barat Ellman have downplayed the fact that Odeh obtained her US immigrant visa in 1994 and her citizenship in 2004 frauduently. In both applications, she failed to disclose her arrest and convictions in the bombings because as she claims she was a "freedom fighter". The mere fact that she lied and pleaded guilty to falsifying her immigration applications was soft peddled and downplayed by the ususal Jew haters but by Leftist anti-Israel and anti-Zionist Jews. In fact the evidence of Rasmea’s immigration fraud was based on the indisputable facts and her own false answers.In the end she was rightly convicted a second time in federal court in Detroit.

And as can be readily seen in the News Media, the frenzy of seething hatred of anti-Zionist Jews, who have blown fuses in their explicit anger towrds Israel's love for President Trump, have reached the zenith of hate.
One wonders what excitement we will see next week....and to paraphrase Sonny and Cher...."And the hate goes on"

The non right of return

What is on my mind is the incessant calls, statements and articles by hypocritical "anti-Zionist" anti-Israel JINOs, "Liberal enlightened jews" and that immense group of the demented and mentally deeranged hounds of hell that form the pro-Arabs of the Mandated Areas aka the Palestinian Troll cheerleader section. The "brains are not required group".

In my recent reading of articles and Talkback commentaries I am amazed that there are individuals and even journalists who write items that have no grasp whatsoever of reality and truth. I sit here reading this constant drivel, inspired by revisionist history and utter distortion of facts and I shake my head in absolute total amazement.

Allow me to clarify the "Right of Return" and what it REALLY means, and do feel free to enlighten the masses......

"The Palestinians' problem is not with a settlement or a checkpoint or a fence. They have a problem with the existence of Israel in any borders. Palestinians have still not come to terms with Israel's right to exist, period; this is the essence of the Israeli-Arab conflict. They see Israel as one big settlement that needs to be ripped out." Since the start of the Israeli-Palestinian peace process in the early 1990s, the Palestinian leadership has consistantly demanded two major concessions; that Israel accept responsibility for the creation of the refugee problem and accept the "right of return", as embodied in UN general assembly resolution 194 of December 1948.
Those two demands on Israel are ludicris to say the least since the resolution itself was adopted by a majority of 35 countries from among the 58 members of the United Nations at that time; however all six Arab League countries (then represented at the UN) voted against it.  ALL of  six whom; Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Yemen, had called on the Arabs of the Mandated aras to evacuate so their armies could "sweep in and exterminate the Jews!!
Israel had not been admitted to the UN yet.

The Israeli policy has not changed since the early days before the declaration of the State during the period of June to August 1948 after the "Partition Vote".
And this policy MUST be understood in the context under which David Ben Gurion and the leaders of the Zionist Movement - the predessors of the Israeli cabinent made it.
The very large number of Arab Palestinian refugees and creative manipulation of history have given rise to charges that Zionist leaders planned to expel the Arabs from Palestine. Other than doctored quotes from Israeli leaders, notably David Ben Gurion, there is no evidence for any such plan.
Frequently cited in such charges, is "Plan Daled" which called for temporary evacuation of strategically placed towns that could not be held.
The majority of Palestinian Arabs who fled, fled voluntarily. This was certainly true in Haifa, where Jewish leaders pleaded with the inhabitants to stay, in Tiberias, and in many of the villages of the north that had been occupied by the Arab Liberation Army. In Beersheba and Safed, all the Arabs left before Jewish forces had entered the towns.
In Isdood and Majdal most of them left when the Egyptian army departed.

Most significantly, towns that did not resist the Israelis or cooperated with them, including Abu Gosh, Nazareth and all the Druze villages of the Galilee, remained intact. 

If inhabitants were expelled, it was not because of racist considerations, but because they were seen as a security threat. 

Eye-witnesses deny specific allegations of expulsions and massacres, though of course, no eye-witness could have seen everything as the Arab apologists claim.

Here is one EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FACT to be noted!!! It is always glossed over and NEVER mentioned!
Before the British Withdrawal and under the Mandate, Jews were forbidden by law and punishment of DEATH to carry ARMS to possess weapons for defense!
Whereas the Arabs were allowed by the Mandatory government to freely carry and use weapons!

US Secretary of State George C. Marshall, an experienced soldier, told Moshe Sharrett, Jewish Agency Foreign Secretary on the eve of independence that the CIA had estimated that the Jewish side would lose the war, even without taking into account the participation of the Arab states:
Believe me, I am talking about things about which I know. You are sitting there in the coastal plains of Palestine, while the Arabs hold the mountain ridges. I know you have some arms and your Haganah, but the Arabs have regular armies. They are well trained and they have heavy arms. How can you hope hope to hold out?" (Larry Collins and Dominique Lapierre, O Jerusalem!, Pan books 1973, page 315).
It was during this perion in particular BEFORE the creation of the the nascent state and the "Official British" withdrawal that Arab villagers, who were inspired and inflamed by the Grand Mufti Muhammad Amin al-Husayni and his own kinsman Abd al-Qadir al-Husayni, as the commander of the Army of the Holy War and  the Arab Liberation Army (ALA) led by Fawzi al-Qawuqji. These Arab fedayeen swarmed against nearly defenseless Jewish defenders of; Kibbutzim, Moshavim, villages and towns. These two major "Irregular Forces" inflicted terrible loses on the Jewish forces in brutal vicious fighting, Convoys which attempted to bring supplies of food and weapons were ambushed and massacred by the crazed Arab villagers egged on to "Exterminate the Jews".

This policy to "bar the return of "Fifth columnists"  is as valid today as it was in 1948. The mass return of those who had fought and tried to exterminate the populace of the Jewish state would mortally threaten the state's existence.
"The State of Israel has a population of approximately 8,855,000 inhabitants as of first half-2018. Some 74.5% percent are Jews of all backgrounds (about 6,556,000 individuals), 20.9% are Arab of any religion other than Jewish (about 1,837,000 individuals), while the remaining 4.6% (about 400,000 individuals) are defined as "others".
Should some 3.5 to 4 million Palestinian refugees - the number supposedly listed in the rolls of UNWRA  be empowered to return to Israeli territory, there could arise widespread anarchy and violence as in 1947.
Even if the return were to bespread over a number of years or even decades, the ultimate result, given the Arabs' far higher birth rates, would be the conversion of the country into an Arab-majority state and the reinstitution of the Moslem status of "Dhimitude."

This immediate degrading of the Jewish populaton into second class citizens, would cause a massive "transfer" of the (remaining) Jews, who would steadily emigrate. Even those fools who work for Haaretz , I am referring to two specific journalists come to mind with their utter hatred, who try to "outdo" themselves in their attitudes of hatred of the "Jewish" part of the state and with their "Matzpen", pro-Falestinian B'tselem, "Breaking (the BS) Silence kiss ass group. Well even these LOSERS may wake up and smell the Humous.

As to "WHY?" Jews would leave  merely take a look at any of the surounding Arab countries.

Would any normal Jew really wish to live as a second-class citizens in an authoritarian Muslim-dominated, Arab-ruled state? As Hillel Neur of UN Watch recently stated in the UN "Where are your Jews" to several Moslem Arab countries? So where are the Jews of Lebanon? Of Egypt? Syria? Algeria? Morocco? Libya? Iraq? Iran?

This also applies to that "enlightened" idea of replacing Israel and the occupied territories with one, unitary binational state, a solution that some blind or hypocritical western intellectuals have been trumpeting.

To many in the west who have come to "champion" the Arabs of the Mandated Areas -aka the Palestinians position, the right of "Nachba refugees"(and their descendants) to return to their homes seems natural and just.

In truth it would be what the Arabs of the Mandated Areas -aka the Palestinians  have planned for all along since it has finally sunk in that they lost and it is time to "Negate Israel".

This drastic move of the "right of return for Nacba refugees" (read their descendants) needs to be weighed against the right to life and well-being of the more than six and a half million Jews who currently live in Israel.

As for those historical revisionist haters I am not refering to the "Khazarim Jews". Oy what bovine excrement!

More than half of the current population of Isarel are- Sephardic Jews- who are also "refugees" descendants of Jews ethnically cleansed from Arab lands during the post creation of Israel period, who were born in Israel.
In is NEVER mentioned in the world media that the Arab side practiced ethnic cleansing systematically.
No Jews were allowed to remain in any territories conquered by Arab forces in 1948, or to return to those territories after the war.
This was true in Gush Etzion and Jerusalem, and in all the villages conquered in Gaza. That was not all. In 1947, the Arab League prepared a plan for systematic persecution of Jews in all Arab countries. The provisions of this plan included special levies, confiscation of properties and abridgement of civil rights (see Draft Arab League Law Against Jews) . This plan was carried out by many of the Arab states, resulting in mass migrations of Jews from them. Over 800,000 Jews fled Arab lands.
So do these Israelis of  Sephardic Jewsish families ethnically cleansed have rights to a homeland?

And what of those "stateless displaced" "Ashkenazic Jews of Europe made refugees during the mass extermination plan endorsed and encouraged by the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, whose homes in Europe- primarily Eastern Europe Poland and Russia and the Ukraine were expropriated and stolen during the Holocaust? These same survivors of death camps who had tried to immigrate to pre-state Palestine but were denied and shoveled into the crematoriums by those demanding "their right of return"?
When many of these same surviving Jews of Europe who tried to "return" home were set upon and massacred in Pogroms by their Christian neighbors who thought that "THEIR" Jews were finally gone.
Most Israelis have known no other country and have no other homeland. So wouldn't the destruction or, at the least, the forced displacement of more than 5 million Jews which would be the foregone conclusion of a massive Palestinian refugee return?

So when one attempts to side with the "Haters of Zionism" and demand "Justice" for- the Arabs of the Mandated Areas aka the Palestinians try to consider that the "Negation of Israel Peace Plan" and how it would constitute a graver injustice than the resettlement of fewer than 4 million Palestinians in Arab League countries?

But hey it's just Jews right.....

Be Kind to Palestinian Trolls

Knowing the truth and being "enlightened by way of FACTS I just replied to a comment by a mentally challenged Least-Able pro-Falestinian Troll  in an article regarding the "Mapping of Palestine before Israel" who used the name "Green and Gray" to post this comment:
"The UN partition plan was offered in General Assembly Resolution 181. GA resolutions are never binding on anyone. The terms of the resolution stated that if each side, Arab and Jewish, accepted the plan, it was to go to the Security Council for ratification, making it international law. If it was rejected by either, it was back to the negotiating table. Neither side had any right to accept the plan and unilaterally enforce it and declare statehood. Israel did so anyway. Despite this breach in existing international agreements, they were rewarded with recognition by the UN".

My reply to the mentally challenged Least-Able Falestinian Troll:

By the refusal to accept the UNR181 resolution -Ah yes this part is correct it was a "non -binding resolution" (there goes your claim to the Arab part of the "Partition Plan"  -
The (your buddies) "Arabs of the Mandated Territory' aka your Falestinians FORFEITED their right to any part of the remaining 22 % of the League of Nations Mandatory Area! By attacking Jewish settlements and individuals prior to the Withdrawal of the Mandatory Forces the warring clans of the Nusseibeh and Husseini also violated the UN Charter Article 2 Sections 3 -5

 You see the people who "Submitted the resolution" -the "Mandatory" -aka the British Stated their desire to return the "Mandate" to the UN ( who inherited the 1922 Treaty of Serves (San Remo Agreement) and as such announced their WITHDRAWAL from ALL RESPONSIBILITY as the MANDATORY Power on May 15th, 1948!
With their withdrawal they left the area in the hands of "he who should claim it:
"Uti possidetis (Latin for "as you possess") is a principle in international law that territory and other property remains with its possessor at the end of a conflict, unless otherwise provided for by treaty; if such a treaty does not include conditions regarding the possession of property and territory taken during the war, then the principle of uti possidetis will prevail.[1] Originating in Roman law, the phrase is derived from the Latin expression uti possidetis, ita possideatis, meaning "may you continue to possess such as you do possess" (lit., "as you possess, thus may you possess"). This principle enables a belligerent party to claim territory that it has acquired by war.

So as the British -"the mandatory power" lowered their flag and sailed out of Haifa Port  leaving the Mandated Area as "A Land belonging to NO SOVERIGN POWER"
OUR Zionist Delegates met in Tel Aviv and declared the founding of the Independent STATE OF ISRAEL.
The "friends" of the "Arabs of the Mandated Territory" -the Seven Nations of the Arab League ALSO leapt in to "divide the spoils" -in direct VIOLATION of UN Charter Article 2 Sections 3 -5
3. All Members shall settle their international disputes by peaceful means in such a manner that international peace and security, and justice, are not endangered.

4. All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the United Nations.

5. All Members shall give the United Nations every assistance in any action it takes in accordance with the present Charter, and shall refrain from giving assistance to any state against which the United Nations is taking preventive or enforcement action.

ANOTHER refugee told the Jordanian daily a-Difaa on September 6, 1954: "The Arab governments told us, 'Get out so that we can get in.' So we got out, but they did not get in."

"FOLLOWING a visit to refugees in Gaza, a British diplomat reported the following: 'But while they express no bitterness against the Jews...they speak with the utmost bitterness of the Egyptians and other Arab states: 'We know who our enemies are,' they will say, and they are referring to their Arab brothers who, they declare, persuaded them unnecessarily to leave their homes." -British Foreign Office Document #371/75342/XC/A/4991

IN THE MARCH 1976 issue of Falastin a-Thaura, then the official journal of the Beirut-based PLO, Mahmud Abbas ("Abu Mazen"), PLO spokesman, wrote: "The Arab armies entered Palestine to protect the Palestinians from the Zionist tyranny but, instead, they abandoned them, forced them to emigrate and to leave their homeland, and threw them into prisons similar to the ghettos in which the Jews used to live."

Palestinian Children

When I tried to sleep last night I kept awaking during the night to the memories of the horrific hatred I have seen recently on many Mass Media venues against Israel. Specifically in regard to those virulent hate filled headlines condeming Israel over the "Peaceful Demonstrations" on our southern border and the cynical death of innocents. 

What is on my mind is what sort of a society consciously and purposely sacrifices its own youth for political gain and tactical advantage?

We have all seen in the videos circulated by Palestinian stringers how the death of Arab children is extolled as shahids or martyrs and how it has become a cynical weapon in the arsenal of Hamas and the Palestinian Authority.

Hamas and the Palestinian Authority have learned that when their children are killed, they gain world sympathy, especially in Europe and North America. The death of any child is viewed as a tragedy and portrayed as such in the media, regardless of circumstance.

The Falestinians nurture an obcessed blind hatred of Israel and because of this "weak spot" in the morality of the mainy "Christian World".

They have created a cultural milieu of vengeance, violence and death - preparing their children to be sacrifices in a death cult to the ancient Philistine God Moloch.

Around the world, in other sane countries children are precious gifts to their parents and keys to the future. From the poorest barrios in South America to the most wretched slums of Cairo, parents strive to make sure there is food for their children and money for their children’s education. The loving care we invest in our own children is a human trait that unites different cultures: rich and poor, traditional and hi-tech. The toughest job parents have is to raise their children while making everyday sacrifices and decisions for them. We hug them, love them and watch them grow up, praying that they will come to no harm, and doing everything we can to ensure that. Parents raise their children with the hope that they will grow into happy, responsible, caring, and contributing members of society.

Protecting our children is a universal trait that unites the Family of Man. But in Palestinian society, that standard has been turned on its head. It is clear that in Palestinian society something has gone dreadfully wrong.

Children in Palestinian communities in the West Bank and Gaza where Arab residents foster a culture that prepares children for armed conflict, consciously and purposely putting them in harm’s way. Do so for one reason, political gain and tactical advantage in their war against Israel.

As we witnessed recently in the news reports from Gaza women and children led riots while young men in their late teens and early 20s, armed with rocks, sling shots, Molotov cocktails and other weapons operated from the rear.

The Palestinian national poet laureate Mahmud Darwish wrote a poem after the outbreak of the first Intifada, where he sanctioned and sanctified their deaths, and praised “Arab youth on the road to victory, each with a coffin on his shoulder.”

From birth Palestinian society abuses its children. Their children are fed with a deep, vile, odious rabid anti-Zionism, anti-Jewish and anti-Western in their schools, summer camps, Mosques. Even children’s television programs are exploited to encourage children to become martyrs in an act that will bring them respect and parental pride. Hamas and the Palestinian leadership makes little to no effort to keep children away from potentially violent confrontations.

 Here is a prime example of the cynical use of Children by Palestinian. In this video meant to vilify Israel the father of 3-year-old child, Muhammad Suroor sees the failure of his incitement to have his son "Martyred." As the video continues the uncaring "adult" screams orders to his child to throw rocks at the soldiers and to raise the flag so they will shoot him.

This is exactly how Hamas cynically uses them as cannon fodder to gain World Media attention and the empathy of the gullible world audience, because wounded or dead children paint Israelis as heartless and cruel in the eyes of the world and for some Israelis themselves to hate themselves because Israel is morally sensitive.

 What the world media sees and hears, through Hamas controled media stringers, is that Israel "blockades" their border and kills children. Few readers of news viewers realize that Hamas and the Palestinian Authority pay out $2,000 for each child killed and $300 for each wounded child.

Ignorance par Excellence

During the pass years after reading ALL the news medias stories and watching the videos produced. I truly wonder in amazement at the abject ignorance of the supposed government leaders and Editorial staff of the world.

I am especially aghast by the total lack of response and ignorance displayed Jewish college students, educators and community leaders to the hatred swallowing the Diaspora.
I am truly amazed at what flaw in Jewish leadership has allowed this level of anti-Zionism and anti-Israel feelings to become predominate?
The denial of ones Jewishness and the utter and sick hatred that is within the anti-Zionistic movement is astounding to say the least.
This Jewish self hatred for the sake of assimilation and the abject hatred of other Jews because of piety - is our "Hamartia" or fatal flaw- has been our downfall throughout history. And if not tended to immediately may cost us another Holocaust.

I for one see a massive failure in education and the massive effect of the conquest of "Historical revisionism" or the unquestioned acceptance of the Palestinian "narrative" over reality and facts.
As an educator I have known for years that all histories are "tainted" by the victors, yet the amount of malice shown to the Jews and "our" narrative in these past 50 years is hideous bordering on the grotesque.

The massive manipulation of the world press by the "Negators of Zionism and Israel" to vilify Israel has occasionally left me aghast by their sheer contortion of historical facts to the "Palestinian Narrative". One of the chief sources of knowledge on the world wide web Wikipedia is totally corrupted with this cancer.

I am truly amazed at the amount of naive innocents who have become so bamboozled by those who have been passing off outright lies and mis-information in the campaign for Historic revisionism as ordained by the post 1967 KGB inspired discreditament of Israel program.

The amount of ignorance flagrantly shown by the world, specifically in the UN, boogles the mind in light of actual documents and archaeological evidence which abounds regarding Israel is beyond comprehension.

  • How many of today's educators dare to teach their students the truth?
  • How many Journalists have been educated in the truth so when confronted with revisionism they know that something is "amiss"?


When I have written my blog entries I have tried to "see both sides" because like a true journalist one must be "unbiased" to relay the truth otherwise you are NOT a historian nor journalist- You are a propagandist.

Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) recently pointed out correctly that the international community has continued holding Israel responsible for Gaza despite disengaging, and the REVISED United Nations Goldstone Report proved it nine years ago.

“The world must do some soul searching, because we left Gaza, yet they still don’t recognize our border,” she said. “We won’t pay twice by withdrawing and remaining the patron for Gaza that has a hostile terror regime. The world must understand that forcing the disengagement on us was a big mistake that led to Hamas taking power of Gaza. They created the Gaza problem, so it is up to them to solve it.”

“The world is hypocritical, because they respond more forcefully than us to security threats,” she said. “Innocents die at the hands of the US and Europe, too. It’s unrealistic to expect zero deaths in war. We did prepare our public diplomacy. Those who wanted to understand understood.”

What has nary been mentioned in ALL the news reports, and is unique in its importance, in the light of the Arabs claim for the "Right of Return," is that the world lied to the Israeli leadership to convince it to forcibly evacuate our citizens from the "Gaza Strip".

NO ONE -not one news source has mentioned in all the news regarding the area of Gaza that according to a LEGALLY BINDING - Treaty which has NEVER been revoked it is also an area where Jews could live.

I am referring to the Treaty of Serves of 1922 (San Remo) where the League of Nations adopted IN FULL the obligation of the Balfour Declaration for a Jewish Homeland in the entire "Mandated Area".

UNR181 reveals the LEGALITY for Jewish control over the disputed area because the "Arabs of the Mandated Areas" aka the Falestinians - rejected the UN resolution.

Another FACT overlooked is that the Arabs and the Arab League where in DIRECT violation of Article 2 of the UN Charter!!! 

Specifically clauses 3 and 4 which state:

3. All Members shall settle their international disputes by peaceful means in such a manner that international peace and security, and justice, are not endangered.
4. All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the United Nations.

 So for all those "Haters of Israel and Zionism" who make claims of Israel "breaking the law" they and the editors of ALL the news media should consult, as I did the historical documented facts.

A Short History on the Smart City Concept

The beginnings of collected data

The need for the organized collection of data for municipal management and realization of city projects to assist in development accelerated with the tremendous growth of major cities and industrial areas in the aftermath of World War II. The rapid growth of post-World War urbanization and massive rebuilding schemes for devastated areas in Europe. Spawned new ideas for utopian style cities where mass transportation for the rapid movement of the employees from the new "baby-boom" suburbs to hubs of business and employment in the "urban sprawl" became a necessity.

With the increase in size of metropolitan areas, management of the three critical infrastructure areas for a modern city: energy, water and waste became more critical for the proper function of a community and it's well-being.

The necessities of a true world war, a war fought on a massive scale, gave birth to new data collection technologies which created the development of computers. In the beginning of the Cold-War, the need for a rapid means of exchange of ideas between scientists and thinkers in colleges gave birth to ARPANET the Advanced Research Projects Agency Network was an early packet switching network and the first network to implement the protocol suite TCP/IP. These two technologies became the technical foundation of the Internet.
This new-found know-how and faith in machines translated, in part, to an interest in computer-assisted social analysis, thanks to the availability of both mainframe computers and large federal grants during the Cold War. Social scientists in particular were interested in exploring the possibilities that data and computers could bring to public policy, as were city planners and architects.
In A Second Modernism: MIT, Architecture and the ‘Techno-Social’ Moment, Arindam Dutta writes that for them, “the emphasis on assembling, collating, and processing larger and larger amounts of data” was “paramount in the postwar framing of expertise.”
These two major technologies: computers and the wide use of internet and World Wide Web, have revolutionized mankind. Open data or open information has further accelerated the need for the collection and analysis of data to further advancements. The efficient management and analysis data have become important tools for the government to create greater transparency and accountability, increase citizen engagement, and drive innovation and economic opportunities.

What is a "Smart City"?:

Mark Deakin and Husam Al Wear in their research paper; "From intelligent to smart cities", for CIB - the acronym of the abbreviated French (former) name: "Conseil International du Bâtiment" (in English this is: International Council for Building) listed four factors that contribute to the definition of a "smart city":
· The application of a wide range of electronic and digital technologies to communities and cities:
The use of Communications Technologies (ICT) to transform life and working environments within the region
The embedding of such Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) in government management systems The “territorialization” of practices that brings ICTs and people together to enhance the innovation and knowledge that they offer.

The need for Innovative Teams and the Collection of Data

There is a growing list of mayors today who are realizing that better use of information technology and data can help them govern cities more effectively. Whether you call the approach “smart cities,” “intelligent cities” or “digital cities, they wish to connect residents to city government and resources, and spur high-tech employment since the main goal of a "Smart City" is the use of technology to make things work better.
A municipality gains the ability to deliver results by its acceptance and creation of a culture of using its data assets and enhanced abilities to properly and efficiently access the information collected from archived municipal files, in various city department and from the public sector in a centralized data platform.
Because cities may have thousands of datasets across multiple servers, databases, and computers, it’s helpful to narrow down which datasets should be included in the inventory overall and how to plan for inventory updates in the future.
This collection of data from varied sources and departments is made possible by a thoroughly trained Municipal staff. The Municipal Analytic Team then utilizes the acquired data and analytic systems and processes to recommend and facilitates projects for the good of the constituents (residents).

To become a "Resilient (antifragile) City"of the future, you need to first become an Innovative "Smart City". And to accomplish that first step you need to accumulate and analyze all your city wide departmental data by a Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT). An Innovative Team must be comprised of individuals from the different discipline's is needed to digitize and centralize relevant information from staff-identified data categories as the nucleus of its database.

Smart cities use both "predictive" and “prescriptive” analytics to identify patterns and forecast trends to provide an insight as to what will be especially valuable to city planners and local officials responsible for improving municipal services and responding to changing demands.

Local governments strive to represent and serve their constituents well. Data-driven metrics ensure that everyone is speaking the same language as they continue to solve problems efficiently. By publishing and tracking key metrics on an Open Data Dashboard, residents can respond accordingly by making their voices heard through direct feedback and voting at the polls.     1.Technological challenges, i.e. infrastructures
    A smart city relies, on advanced analytics of data derived from integrated hardware, software, and network technologies which will provide ICT systems with real-time awareness of critical infrastructure components and services.
    The integration of ICT with city infrastructure can enhance the management and functioning of the urban landscape of a city and offer a number of potential opportunities for improvement.

    2.Economical challenges, i.e high costs with high potential:
    Over the next 20 years, cities around the world will invest as much as $41 trillion to upgrade their existing infrastructure.
    The potential benefit from this investment will come from the addition of Smart City sensor networks of connected devices known as the IOT (Internet of Things) to collect data for analyses by Municipal DoIT (Department of Innovations and Technology) teams.
    Though the astronomical figure is an estimate "Smart technology uses the internet of Things to gather data, connect components across the city and impact multiple departments or services in order to improve people's quality of life.
    3.Social challenges,i.e applications: Smart cities will have a direct impact on the quality of life of citizens. Smart Cities aim to foster more informed, educated, and participatory citizens who are as constituents have the power to change city administrators and leadership.
    Traditionally this part of the equation has been neglected on the expense of understanding more technological and policy aspects of smart cities.
    Smart cities initiatives allow the constituents of the city to participate in the governance and management of the city and become active users. If they are key players they may have the opportunity to engage with the initiative to the extent that they can influence the effort to be a success or a failure.

    It is critical not to neglect the fact that city residents are not just individuals, but also as members of the voting communities and interest groups with their respective wants and needs within cities. Smart cities initiatives need to be sensitive in balancing the needs of various communities.
    • All levels of government are moving toward smarter infrastructures based on data and analytics, transparency, application of technology and greater connectivity. Smart technology — and the data that it provides — helps to bring these departments together and ensure that everyone shares a common goal.
      Cities should instead seek out technology that enhances their existing infrastructure inorder to be truly smart. To do so cities must optimize existing infrastructures and use technology to deliver better, faster and cheaper services – together.
      Unlike stationary cameras, truck mounted sensor arrays, can offer a view of the entire city. These mobile sensor arrays will have the ability to collect valuable data across the entire city ecosystem, from the department of transportation, to parks and recreation, to housing. The use of these mobile mounted sensor arrays gets back to the importance of the need for IOT interconnectivity.
      "Civic engagement" means anticipate community needs: What if governments could take control with a more proactive approach?

    City Data Portals and Dashboards

    With the need for city efficiency and "real -time" data, several large cities have led the way by creating data portals for use not only as sources for other city departments but through open data policy to the constituents as well.
    The city of Los Angeles has recently been awarded the first gold-level What Works Cities data certification for its platform DataLa, a designation which recognizes how cities incorporate data and evidence into governance. Los Angeles is setting the precedent in collecting and using data to make informed decisions when addressing city issues. As a basis, the city provides an open data portal that features 1,100 data sets, touching on everything from building permits to trash bin locations, and the city is also working on more specific initiatives through a partnership with the Data Science Federation.
    DataLa publishes and maintains up-to-date, quality data that can be used by City staff, the public, and private partners. "Their approach is:
    • To be the most open and transparent city in the US.
    • Expand the use of data and analytics to streamline service delivery and drive innovation in all operational processes.
    • Improve user experience across all digital services and assets."

    The city of Chicago has it's WindyGrid and OpenGrid, which provides three main functions for City staff: situational awareness and incident monitoring, historical data retrieval, and real-time advanced analytics.

    The City of Pittsburgh’s Analytics and Strategy team was inspired in part by Chicago’s WindyGrid and they developed Burgh’s Eye View. Burgh’s Eye View is an application that they had built entirely internally as a “one stop shop” for residents and community groups to access and view the datasets that Pittsburgh has published on its regional open data platform. The new responsive web application allows the city’s residents, for the first time, to gain visual insight into a broad range of citywide and neighborhood data.
    “The way you make data matter for people who aren’t data scientists is through visualization, and probably the most successful kind of visualization that exists is a map,” said Nick Hall, Open Data Services Engineer for Pittsburgh.
    The city of Winnipeg in Canada has created "PEG" which is a:"community indicator system, tracking eight theme areas (basic needs, health, education, learning,social vitality, governance, built environment, economy, and natural environment).

    PEG measures the health of the community by reporting on everything from the health of babies born in Winnipeg right through to how many of them graduate 18 years later. PEG tracks how much garbage is taken to the landfill and the use of public transit. The constituents of Winnipeg can learn how their life, their neighborhood and their city is changing – for the good and the bad. "PEG is a starting place for Winnipeg citizens, business owners and policy makers to learn the facts so they can lead change to create a better city for their children."

    Municipal Data platform

    A Municipal Data platform enables City Managers and Mayors to extract maximum value from their available budgets as it provides real-time access for operational staff to the repository data, thereby providing department heads the ability to intervene or modify plans on the fly if circumstances require.

Plus, smart cities attract technical professionals and members of the creative class, a boon for recruiting qualified candidates.     CNN - Fake news and cowards

    With regards to CNN as a “Fake News” source and their “love” for Israel I thought that I would repost this old Blog entry of mine from July of 2006 during the “Second War for Lebanon”

     On Friday morning. Between Katjusha attack,  I saw a very heartwarming and crocodile tear jerker report about the poor displaced families of the Shia Moslem murderers = Hezbollah from the Dahieh  suburbs of southern Beirut. The women being interviewed was just so complacent as she admitted that Israel had sent leaflets and had warned the inhabitants of the neighborhood to leave, which she astutely did.
    In the next scene, the reporter goes to show the children playing outside in the sunlight as ‘bombs’ exploded nearby. The children show their defiance and pray to Allah in thanks for not being killed. How staged can you get! Now exactly where did I put my Photoshop program? Ah, hiding dust I guess.
    So I ask where are the CNN reporters in Israel?
    "Why can’t they come and spend a quiet day with me and my family?"
    Could it be that coming to face Katyushas from the Hezbollah with innocent Israeli’s would compromise their ever-dying love for Zionism?
    Maybe the ‘Bollywood’ and “Paliwood’ versions of the poor displaced and innocent Arab victims of Zionism are more interesting than the actual blood of innocent Israeli’s.
    Hey, I guess after the "fake Holocaust" that the Neo-Nazi's and the Palestinians claim never really happened and the sudden disappearance of more than six million "Zhids" continues to delight the worlds “lovers of Zion”.

    Now how many can remember Secretary-General of the United Nations from 1961 to 1971 Pantanaw U Thant’s pre Six Day War 1967 UN disappearing act from the Egyptian border at the request of Gamal Abdul Nasser?
    Or the UNFIL peek-a-boo we don’t see nothing gig in Southern Lebanon.
    Could someone at the UN explain to me just how 16,000 Katyusha rockets were 'smuggled' in to Lebanon?
    Tell me are blindfolds part of the kit issued to all UN personnel?
    Now what was that comment about the non-adherence by Israel of UN resolutions?   

    Anyway after 33 days of being confined to our ‘enclosed room’ and being on the receiving end of more than 550 Katyusha rockets, and an unknown amount of 120mm mortar rounds my wife and my three children thought that they could hopefully come out into the sunlight. Not so fast! Our first salvo of Katyusha rockets came at 10:45. As of this moment 3:00PM there have been 20!

    My first email sent to CNN:

    I am sick and tired of your totally one sided pro Hezbollah coverage of the 'unfortunate' Lebanese terrorists and their families. You have not shown the real bravery and courage nor suffering of the Israeli's in the eye of the relentless Katyusha Terrorist attacks on Israeli civilians. I called your offices in Jerusalem on Friday and invited one of your colleagues to come and sit with my family for just one day. I have yet to have heard from your cowardly pro Hezbollah Islamic terrorist’s colleagues. PS I am sending this letter to Fox News. I am waiting for your reporter’s arrival!

    Comment sent in with movie file of Katyusha rocket attack:

    This is just one of several videos that I made as the alarm/siren went off for 33 days as the Lebanese government protected Iranian Government funded Islamic Terrorist organization has tried their hardest to murder me and my family in cold blood since 09:05 Wednesday July 12th with over 500 Katyusha rockets. Contrary to Israel’s policy of warning the Lebanese with leaflets, radio and TV broadcasts to leave we have been targeted with no warning. My question to all of the viewers is; Why does CNN refuse to show how murderous the Hezbollah rocket attacks really are? Don't forget Europe they will kill you too. My wife and I are American born citizens who made Aliyah to Israel. We are non-combatants and our children are innocent victims of Moslem terror. We do not have a bomb shelter and we do not have a security room. All we have is our home and a storage wash room under the stairwell to our second floor. For three weeks I have been running in and out of our ‘shelter’. We have been flipping through the news channels and we are sick and tired of the scenes of the 'unfortunate' Lebanese terrorists and their families that are constantly shown on CNN International. We have yet to have seen the real bravery and courage nor suffering of the Israeli's in the eye of the relentless and very murderous Katyusha rocket terrorist attacks on Israeli civilians.
    Because of this I called your offices in Jerusalem on Friday and invited one of your colleagues to come and sit with me my wife and my children for just one day and experience with us the true horror of being on the receiving end of the Hezbollah terrorist attacks.
    My wife, my children and I are awaiting your reporter’s arrival!

    Like I tried to say in my three previous attempts to send you information, the power was cut by shrapnel that cut the power lines; Ma’alot itself has no military facilities nor is it a strategic position. So why exactly is Ma’alot being targeted by the Hezbollah? Why have the Hezbollah fired over 500 katyusha rockets and countless 120mm mortar rounds at us?

    As of now my wife, my children and I are still awaiting the arrival of a reporter from CNN. Question, If I were a member of the Hezbollah do you think I would be ignored like this?

    I wish to remind those who read this some facts that were ignored by the world media. That 15 out of a total of 43 Israeli civilians (including four who died of heart attacks during rocket barrages) were Arab Israelis.
    July 19th,2006: Rabiya Abed Taluzi, three, and his brother Mahmoud, 7, of Nazareth.
    July 23rd, 2006: Habib Awad, 48, of Ibellin
    August 3rd, 2006: Shanati Shanati, 18; Amir Naeem, 18; and Muhammad Fa'ur, 17, all of Ma’a lot-Tarshiha
    August 4th, 2006: Baha Fayed Karim Mana, 35, and Muhammad Subhi Salim Mana, 23, both of Majd el-Krum
    August 5th, 2006: Fadiya Juma'a, 58, and her daughters Sultana, 25, and Samira, 30, of Arab al-Aramshe
    August 7th, 2006: Lebiba Masawi, 68, and Hanna Hamam, 62, from the Israeli-Arab neighborhood of narrow streets and old stone buildings called Wadi Nisnas in Haifa were killed trying to protect their grandchildren from the barrage of Hizbullah-launched rockets..
    August 10th, 2006: A Katyusha rocket exploded in the courtyard of a residential building in Deir el-Asad that killed a mother Mariam Assadi, 26 and her five-year-old son Fathi Ahmed Assadi and seriously wounding her other son and mother-in-law. The mother and children were on the ground floor of their apartment when a rocket exploded just outside the external wall and kitchen window. The kitchen and hallway were completely destroyed by the blast.

    Deir el-Asad is part of a municipal federation called El-Shajur, which includes Binya and Majdal Krum. During the war four people from El-Shajur were killed, dozens suffered physical wounds and hundreds suffered from shock from about 35 rockets that fell on the three villages. Eleven people were wounded in the explosion and another 38 people were treated for shock.

    According to the Hezbollah and their adherents they do not make mistakes. But Oops sorry we did not mean to kill your loved ones, or did they, these 15 Arab Israelis-please note the women and children -   were in their homes and nowhere near military bases or facilities.
