Education and Hasbara

As I have always said "The greatest gift that an educator can give is to give others the means to learn the truth"!

The very essence of teaching is a profound act of empowerment by which you provide your students the means by which to learn the truth.

By providing the tools and inspiration we educators place the emphasis on:

  • Critical Thinking:
    • Providing the skills to evaluate information, discern facts from falsehoods, and question assumptions.
  • Inquiry and Research Skills:
    • Teaching them how to find reliable information and conduct their own investigations.
  • Intellectual Independence:
    • Fostering the confidence and capacity to pursue knowledge on their own, without constant guidance.

Rather than simply providing answers (the "truth"), the greatest gift is giving them- the least knowledgeable- the tools (the "means") to discover it (the "truth") for themselves, is a gift that lasts a lifetime.

  1. Hasbara means educating those who have been brainwashed with the false media of falestinian dezinformatsiya™
  2. Hasbara means education of the least knowledgeable.

  • Proverbs chapter 12:1
    • "Whoso loveth knowledge loveth correction; but he that is brutish hateth reproof."
  • Proverbs chapter 12:5
    • "The thoughts of the righteous are right; but the counsels of the wicked are deceit."
  • Proverbs chapter 12:8
    • "A man shall be commended according to his intelligence; but he that is of a distorted understanding shall be despised."
  • Proverbs chapter 12:17
    • "He that breatheth forth truth uttereth righteousness; but a false witness deceit."
  • Proverbs chapter 12:22
    • "Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD; but they that deal truly are His delight."

As a Jew / Israeli  / Zionist Educator, I just replied to a person from Zambia regarding his, "request to be enlightened.

READ, LEARN!

Look at your comment:

"Isreal still killing Palastineans for nothing."

For nothing?

Your comment suggests very rudely that we in Israel are murdering "Innocent Civilians"!

 FACT:

No, "innocent Civilian in Gaza" would have died IF the Hamas terrorists had NOT released a heinious slaughter on Israeli CIVILIANS in their homes on the 7th of October, 2023.

And on the same day Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad unleashed over 3,600 explosive and shrapnel laden rockets at Israeli civilian - Jews and Arabs on that day.

FACT :

The Hamas Terrorists used a tactic of war called the "Active Measures Plan" were they constructed over 345kms of underground tunnels and halls for weapons production, storage and for combat purposes purposely and cynically under hospitals, UNWRA schools and facilities. And especially in THE most crowded poorest refugee "camps" (read residential neighborhoods")

There are many recorded videos of the firing of rockets of implacements under or near crowded residential areas, hospitals, UNWRA schools and facilities.

FACT :

These kilometer long "Metro" underground facilities used by the Hamas terrorists came at the cost of BILLIONS of World Wide aid in money and materials meant to improve the lives of the "Innocent Civilians" of Gaza in civic improvements like water and sewage treatment, electrical power, water pureification!!

FACT :

As noted in the recent plan of President Trump NO ONE would die "IF" Hamass were to:

  1. Return ALL the hostages!
  2. Return the remains / bodies of those they slaughtered and butchered.
  3. Laydown and disarm ALL their fighters!

Look at your comment you blithely regurgitate a gross and blatant LIE!:

"That land is genuinely thiers."

What land?

Please do elaborate as to, "HOW it is "their land"?"

As to your comment;

"why occupy another Nation??

What nation?

Your statement alludes to a country that existed

What "nation" was this and when did it exist and WHO were the elected leaders or Kings of this so called "Nation" you allude to?

Let the light of truth shine trough.

The Historical Trajectory: From Jewish Sect to World Religion

Many Christians assume they’re following what Jesus preached, but in essence Jesus who was Jewish and his followers were Jewish, preached the words written in th Old Testament the "Holy Scriptures" from the Torah.

According to the "Gospel" Jesus said he didn’t come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it. His movement was called The Way. It was a sect within Judaism, not a new religion.

It is a true fact that the "New Testament" didn’t even exist in the lifetime of Jesus.

Most of what’s in it comes from Paul, a man who never met Jesus, and later, Rome, which institutionalized Christianity as a religion of empire.

Christianity is not the faith of Jesus. It’s the faith about Jesus, created after the fact.

The movement led by Jesus was entirely Jewish and operated within the framework of Second Temple Judaism. His primary focus was internal to Judaism:

  • Target Audience: The "lost sheep of the house of Israel."
  • Sacred Text: The Torah and the Prophets (the Hebrew Scriptures).
  • Theology: Monotheism, the centrality of the Covenant, and the imminent Kingdom of God.

The Historical Jesus and Judaism

Jesus Was Jewish: Jesus lived and died as a Jew in 1st-century Roman-occupied Judea. His followers were also Jewish. His ministry was focused on the Jewish people, announcing the imminent arrival of the Kingdom of God within the Jewish covenant framework.  (Matthew 2:1) Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king

The Law and the Prophets:

Jesus's teachings were fundamentally rooted in the Hebrew Scriptures ("Old Testament"). He constantly referenced the Torah and the Prophets, and the Sermon on the Mount is interpreted by many scholars as an intensification of Jewish law, not a rejection of it.

The "Law" (Torah):

The Gospel of Matthew records Jesus stating: "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them" (Matthew 5:17).

"The Way":

The earliest followers of Jesus were not called "Christians"; they were known as the followers of "The Way" (Acts 9:2), a sect or movement within Judaism, centered in Jerusalem. They continued to worship at the Temple and observe Jewish law.

After Jesus's death and resurrection (according to belief), his initial followers continued to adhere to Jewish law. The pivotal shift began when Paul started preaching to non-Jews.

The Role of Paul and the Gentiles:

The major theological and practical shift that separated "The Way" from Judaism was largely driven by Paul (Saul of Tarsus). Paul was an educated Jew and a Roman citizen who claimed to have received an apostolic call from the resurrected Christ.

It was Paul who became the primary apostle to the Gentiles (non-Jews). His central argument—that Gentile converts did not need to become fully Jewish (e.g., be circumcised or strictly observe the dietary laws) to follow Jesus—was fiercely debated within the early movement (see the Council of Jerusalem in Acts 15).

Paul's letters - The New Covenant - systematically developed the theology that faith in Jesus's death and resurrection  supersedes the need for ritual observance of the Mosaic Law,. argued that salvation comes through faith in Christ and not through "works of the law," providing the theological justification for Gentile inclusion and a non-ethnic identity for the nascent faith. and laying the groundwork for a universal, non-ethnic religion

Institutionalization and Christianity's Formation

The New Testament was written after Jesus's death, largely between 50 CE and 100 CE. These writings record the life of Jesus (Gospels) and reflect the theological and organizational development of the early communities (Acts, Letters, Revelation).

It was during the Roman Empire that Christianity grew from a minority movement, but its ultimate transformation into an "imperial religion" occurred in the 4th century CE.

It was the Roman Emperor Constantine the Great who legalized Christianity in the Edict of Milan (313 CE), and Emperor Theodosius I who made Nicene Christianity the official state religion of the Roman Empire via the Edict of Thessalonica thereby cementing its status, giving the new religion the political and structural power to define its doctrine, institutionalize its hierarchy, and spread across the empire. This process resulted in the distinct, powerful idominant religious and cultural force in the Western world know as Christianity a global, universal religion whose core identity was defined by the person and theological meaning of Jesus Christ.

In conclusion:

These developments transformed a movement centered on Jesus, Judaism—based on the Torah, the Temple, and the hope for the Jewish messiah and the Kingdom of God to that of Christianity.

Christianity is the distinct religious system that emerged after his death, centered on the messianic identity of Jesus (Christ), his resurrection, and the theological interpretation (largely by Paul) that transformed his teachings and identity into a salvation-based faith accessible to the entire world, separate from the strict observance of Jewish Law.

Upon contemplating Antisemitism and hatred

This IS long but as I always say READ it all, stop and think and above ALL else please remember what I always say;
"Words and their meanings DO matter"

And as I always ask IF you like what I say PLEASE share to enlighten others!

Upon contemplating Antisemitism and hatred.

Last night as I tried to sleep the two old guys in my brain were in melt down mold regarding the multitude of comments regarding the death of Charlie Kirk and comments on Jesus Christ -Christianity and Judaism that may have reinforced historical antisemitic tropes raised in speeches by several speakers -specifically Tucker Carlson on those aspects of Christianity based on the historical narrative to blame "the Jews" for the death of Jesus.

Allow me to reiterate as I have written many times before. That as a very proud and REAL Jew, albeit a very secular raised reform "Heart of Dixie" Southern Jew. I have absolutely no qualms regarding MY Jewish faith, nor am I "envious" nor hate filled in my view of those who cannot fathom the fact that as is written, HaShem- YHWH (the LORD), the self-existent, true God choose “US”.

Talking, as I frequently do at night to the darkness, to a non-physical, transcendent God the “Invisible God” is a distinctive feature of the Jewish concept of God and prayer.  (As to why? I refer you to Sigmund Freud (1856–1939) who was arguably the most famous name in psychology and considered the father of Psychoanalysis.)

There is one central fact that all believers in one God -as Charlie Kirk noted from the “Talnach” -the Old Testament Scriptures there is but one "He WHO IS, WAS and forever BE" YHWH (the LORD), the self-existent, true God who created us all.

Allow me to mention that as someone who has been on the edge of death many times in combat and on the operating table for cancer (before surgery the doctor gave me 10% chance of survival) and chemotherapy- which I would not wish anyone to experience. I have come close to OUR maker.

Add to this my profound PTSD from the IEDs in Lebanon I experienced with the horrific experience as a combat medic of holding dying "kids" in my arms to comfort them in their last moments because my medical supplies were exhausted and help was "on the way".....

We who have experienced death, who see the faces of those brothers who died, almost every other night and we ask the Lord WHY?  Why do I continue to live, and they died?

And as these two old guys argued about the blind hatred in this world, I was reminded of the play "Jesus Christ Superstar" music written by: Andrew Lloyd Webber with lyrics by Tim Rice.

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice at first chose to release it as a concept album in 1970 first because no producers were initially willing to fund a stage production of a rock opera based on the final days of Jesus Christ. The massive success of the album led to its eventual move to the stage on Broadway in 1971.

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice provided clear explanations for why they wrote Jesus Christ Superstar, focusing on a line from the Bob Dylan song, "With God on Our Side," which asked:  “Did Judas Iscariot have God on his side?”

Tim Rice was fascinated by Judas, who he felt was often portrayed in the Bible as a simple "cardboard cut-out figure of evil." He wanted to explore the character's psychology and motivations. Andrew Lloyd Webber has said the show is an attempt to "examine why it was that Judas betrayed somebody that he clearly loved."

The entire rock opera tells the story of Jesus's final days primarily through Judas's eyes, portraying him as a close friend and former follower who becomes concerned about the direction and growing fame ("superstar" status) of Jesus's movement, fearing it will provoke a violent and disastrous reaction from the Roman authorities.

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice wanted to explore the human side of the biblical figures and create a contemporary work that would be acceptable to today’s audiences.

They were young, ambitious, and eager to tell a dramatic story through the language of modern rock music (incorporating rock, gospel, funk, and folk). As this style of music was the "language of that generation," they felt it was the right vehicle to make the ancient story resonate with a contemporary, often agnostic or secular, audience.

Rice wanted to Humanize Christ by depicting Jesus not just as God, but as a man grappling with his mission, his growing celebrity, and the burden of his fate.

In the play Judas Iscariot, is portrayed not as a greedy villain, but as a tragic, politically minded friend who is trying to save Jesus and the Jewish nation from what he views as Jesus's self-destructive path ("getting too big"). His motivations are political and misguided, not born of intrinsic evil or religious hatred.

The Play:

The character of Judas Iscariot in Jesus Christ Superstar has some of the most complex and pivotal songs in the musical. His lyrics are marked by fear for his people, distrust of the growing cult-like following around Jesus, and profound regret over his actions.

Here are the words for some of Judas's key songs and lyrical moments:

"Heaven On Their Minds"

Was Judas's opening song, where he expresses his concerns about Jesus's growing popularity and how it will inevitably lead to a Roman crackdown.

"My mind is clearer now, at last, all too well, I can see where we all soon will be."

"If you strip away the myth from the man, you will see where we all soon will be. Jesus! You've started to believe the things they say of you, you really do believe this talk of God is true."

"And all the good you've done will soon get swept away. You've begun to matter more than the things you say."

"We are occupied! Have you forgotten how put down we are? I am frightened by the crowd, for we are getting much too loud, and they'll crush us if we go too far."

"All your followers are blind”…"too much heaven on their minds."

In the play Judas often critiques Jesus's actions from a political and practical standpoint, especially regarding money and resources. Like in this snippet of his reaction to Mary Magdalene anointing Jesus with expensive oil.

"Woman, your fine ointment—brand new and expensive—could have been saved for the poor! Why has it been wasted? We could have raised maybe three hundred silver pieces or more."

and

"People who are hungry, people who are starving, they matter more than your feet and hair!"

Regarding the "Death of Judas" we see that he is consumed by guilt and horror after betraying Jesus and seeing his subsequent suffering, Judas then sings this anguished song before taking his own life.

  • "Christ! I know you can't hear me, but I only did what you wanted me to!"
  • "Christ! I'd sell out the nation for I have been saddled with the murder of you!"
  • "I have been spattered with innocent blood! I should be dragged through the slime and the mud!"
  • "My mind is in darkness now, my God, I am sick! I've been used, and you knew all, all the time!"
  • "God, I'll never ever know why you choose me for your crime... your foul, bloody crime!"
  • "You have murdered me!"

Judas then appears one final time after his death as a spectral figure in the song "Superstar," where he questions Jesus's plan and legacy from a modern perspective.

  • "Don't you get me wrong. I only want to know: Jesus Christ, Superstar, who are you?
  • What have you sacrificed?"
  • "Every time I look at you, I don't understand why you let the things you did get so out of hand."
  • "Now why'd you choose such a backward time and such a strange land?"

These lyrics highlight Judas's central role as the skeptical, rational, and ultimately tragic figure who acts, in his mind, for the greater good of his people, only to be overwhelmed by the terrible consequences.

As to whether the play "Jesus Christ Superstar" was antisemitic is a subject of historical and ongoing controversy.

The consensus is that while the creators did not intend to be antisemitic, the show's dramatic choices and reliance on traditional gospel narratives can unfortunately reinforce historical antisemitic tropes for some viewers.

The controversy stems from the musical's portrayal of the events leading to the crucifixion, which mirrors the narrative that has historically been used to promote the deicide charge—blaming the Jewish people for the death of Jesus.

Specifically, in the portrayal of the High Priest Caiaphas and his fellow priests as villains dark, sinister, and purely evil figures, whose sole motivation is a cynical desire to eliminate Jesus to preserve their own power and avoid a Roman crackdown.

Their song, "This Jesus Must Die," is presented without a sympathetic counterpoint, making them appear as the unquestionable antagonists driven by malice. This theatrical demonization reinforces a long-standing negative stereotype of Jewish religious authority.

In the trial scene ("Trial Before Pilate") reflective of the infamous “Passion plays”, the Jewish crowd is shown screaming "Crucify him!" to Roman Governor Pontius Pilate.

To many this spectacle emphasizes the demand for Jesus's death coming from the Jewish people. The true fact in the end it was Pontius Pilate, and the Roman colonial power who were responsible for the ultimate crucifixion.

Many of the productions of the play were criticized for their costuming and direction, which sometimes depicted the Jewish leaders in an overtly villainous or cartoonishly evil manner (e.g., hooded black robes, sinister makeup), further separating them from the sympathetic characters.

Some people have such an abyss of deep dark hatred in their souls that they cannot see the light…

So, now I ask that everyone cease and desist the hatred and arguing and try to listen to "He who is" YHWH (the LORD), the self-existent, true God as was embodied in the "Burning Bush" (the voice of God) speaking to Moses from epic 1956 film "The Ten Commandments" made by the legendary Hollywood filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille.

"I will teach thee what thou shalt say... Tell them: I AM THAT I AM hath sent thee."

Exodus 20:2-3 “I am the Lord thy God” and “"You shall have NO other gods before me."”

Tucker Carlson's speech at the Turning Point USA Memorial

I saw several comments regarding the appearence of Tucker Carlson at the Turning Point USA Memorial and a comment by a Facebook friend Earl Foote.

My feeling is that in light of Carlson's recent conversion to the viliest form of antisemitism and feeling towards Israel he was most assuredly a very inappropriate person to speak at Charlie Kirk’s funeral.

His televised "speech" provided by Turning Point USA at the Memorial for Charlie Kirk was particularly destructive and poignantly hateful.

Carlson readily verified that he is indeed an antisemite by his speech.

Two items stood out in Carlson's "speech":

  1. He "alludes to a conspiracy theory" that has been widely shared by right wing anti- Zionists /antisemites. Where "a bunch of guys sitting around eating hummus" was a "coded message", or "dog whistle," intended to imply Jewish or Israeli involvement in Kirk's death. Despite the official FBI and police narrative that a lone gunman, Tyler Robinson, was responsible.
  2. Carlson invoked the historical "blood libel" myth in the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the Crucifiction Of Jesus, which has been used for centuries to justify violence against Jews by blaming them for the death of Jesus.

Here is what Facebook friend Earl Foote posted regarding Tucker Carlson:

"I have been following the discussion of Tucker Carlson's speech, comparing the murder of Charlie Kirk to the crucifixion of Jesus.  You can bet that I have thoughts on this.

First of all, while this part is not evil, I find it in bad taste to compare someone to Jesus Christ, a unique person/God whom I worship.

I didn't worship Charlie Kirk, and, while his work was admirable, the praise due to him doesn't even rise to the level of the late Martin Luther King, Jr., to whom he also has been compared.  So, Carlson's speech, even in context, was a bit off, to me.

Let's look at what Carlson actually said.

He referred to "a bunch of guys sitting around eating hummus and saying, 'Let's get that guy for telling the truth!'"

Put aside, as has been pointed out, that hummus was not commonly consumed in the Middle East until the 13th century (A.D., of course), and as any Arab or Greek can tell you, you don't have to be Jewish to eat hummus (but it helps!).

Carlson's defenders claim that he was referring to the Temple authorities, not to Jews overall.

This controversy is not new.

Of the four Gospels, only one, John, refers to "the Jews," meaning the scribes, pharisees, Temple authorities, and the common people.  Matthew, Mark, and Luke refer to those categories specifically, not generically to the Jews.

Of course, Jesus was Jewish, as was his family, and as were almost all of his followers.

In John's Gospel, it is "the Jews" that demand the crucifixion.

In the other Gospels, it is simply "the crowd," or "the people," or "they."

This shows that John's Gospel was written a couple of decades after the others.

At first, Christians were considered Jews, which many of the early Christians were (altho the Epistle writer, Paul, reached out to Gentiles, emphasizing that you didn't have to subscribe to all the laws about kosher food, circumcision, etc. in order to become a Christian).

By the time John wrote his Gospel, in the 90s (not the 1990s, of course!), Christians had been thrown out of synagogs, and "Jew" was starting to become an insult.

Also, since the Romans bear the ultimate guilt for crucifying Jesus, I suspect that John didn't want to offend Rome for fear of persecution, but there was no reason to fear Jewish leaders, because Rome had destroyed the Temple and ended Judea's semi-independence.

So, when Carlson said that "they" decided to kill Jesus, he insisted that he was referring to the Temple authorities and not all Jews.

This is a subtle distinction that I am not sure most people can understand with a superficial glance.  It doesn't help that Carlson seems to blame Israel for everything that goes wrong in the world, so that kind of tells us what he really means.

I'll conclude by advising that, if you want to use the crucifixion story as an analogy, tread very lightly and define your terms clearly.

The Gospel of John has been used as the basis for much anti-Semitism in the world.

I honestly think that that was not John's intention (he was Jewish, after all, as were all of the New Testament writers except Luke), but that is how it often is interpreted.

In any case, I somewhat admired Charlie Kirk, without agreeing with all of his viewpoints, and I am certainly sorry that he was murdered, but he WASN'T "Jesus Christ, Jr."  Get a grip, everybody."

Now some clarification and historical fact:

The Gospel of John is generally believed to have been written later than the Synoptic Gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke), likely in the 90CE during a period of increasing tension and separation between early Christians and the larger Jewish community.

Scholars agree that John's frequent use of "the Jews" as a monolithic group is distinct from the other Gospels. While in the other Gospels, the blame for Jesus's death is placed on specific groups like the chief priests and Pharisees, John often presents "the Jews" as a singular, hostile entity. This language has been a source of significant debate and has contributed to a long history of antisemitism.

The Role of Rome in the narrative is in the personification of the Roman governor Pontius Pilate who is the one who ultimately sentences Jesus to death by crucifixion. The Synoptic Gospels and John's Gospel all place the final responsibility on the Roman authorities, though the different Gospels portray the role of Jewish leaders and the crowd in varying degrees.

The controversy surrounding Carlson's speech highlights how historical and theological discussions, particularly those involving sensitive topics like the crucifixion of Jesus, can be co-opted and used for modern political purposes.

Defining terms or Biblical references clearly as well as providing the true documentedd historical context of these texts is often lost in modern discourse, leading to misinterpretations and the amplification of harmful tropes.

Personally knowing Charlie Kirk from his many talks and his professed love for the People of Israel and Israel he would have NOT tolerated Tucker Carlson at all!

Education and Charlie Kirk

As a teacher and educator and now in my Hasbara for Israel and Zionism I relay researched for facts -"Due Diligence" - on all material that I comment / post.

I will state up front that should I err, I will admit it and correct the error. Since the discipline (Hebrew: musar) "to err is to learn" from ones mistakes which leads to correction, discipline, and ultimately, a deeper understanding of the truth.

Proverbs 3:11-12: "My son, do not despise the Lord's discipline or be weary of his reproof, for the Lord reproves him whom he loves, as a father the son in whom he delights."

I have always said Education, and enlightenment is achieved by reading comprehension, not by watching mendacious slanted news casts for  the mentally challenged by unscrupulous "journalists".

Proverbs 15:32: "Whoever ignores instruction despises himself, but he who listens to reproof gains intelligence."

I learned in my youth from the writings of "Silence Dogood" which was a pseudonym used by Benjamin Franklin of a witty, middle-aged widow when he was just 16-years-old in a series of 14 letters published in his brother's newspaper, The New-England Courant, in 1722.

A key theme in the Silence Dogood letters, is the idea of self-improvement which "she" (the persona of a witty, middle-aged widow) credited her education not just to her master but also to her; "more than ordinary Delight in reading ingenious Books," which gave her "free Use of his Library."

Just as in Franklin's own self-taught journey and his conviction that a person's desire to learn essential skills like reading, in order to access knowledge in books is more valuable than formal instruction alone. A solid foundation of practical knowledge gained from reading is needed for a useful and productive life.

I too learned the importance of self-education and self-improvement in my decision to educate myself through extensive reading.

Just as "Silence Dogood" aka Benjamin Franklin was highly skeptical about the classical education of his time. I too also believe that many students are ill-suited for: "a formal education which was often wasted on those without the natural talent or inclination for it."

As I have mentioned in the past my creed or if you will my modus operandi is to write replies in order to enlighten / educate those who are passively reading who wish to know the truth and NOT the purposed cognitive dissonance of  lies, fabrications undocumented revisionist history which is the forte of the "Palestinian strategy of dezinformatsiya"

I work and post by  NILI the acronym of the phrase from the Old Testament (I Samuel 15:29):‎- ‎נצח ישראל לא ישקר‎ (Hebrew: ‎נִילִ"י‎) ‎ Netzakh Yisrael Lo Yishaker, ‎Translation  ‎"The Eternal (GOD) of Israel will not lie"

Regretfully Facebook abounds and provides a "platform" for "Useless Idiots", to openly display their Histrionic personality disorder (HPD) as they insist of giving their "Two cents" worth.

In their hate filled comments and short video clips it is highly apparent that Jewish suffering and the slaughter of 1200 peace-loving Israelis on the 7th of October 2023 has become politically inconvenient and Jews /Zionists are the "wrong" kind of victims.

Personally, instead of replying to all of their sad exhibitions of HPD, I occaisionally go by the old adage; "One must not make fun of the least-able minded."

I learned from "He who is all around us, Was and Forever be" from the Bible - the "Old Testament" Proverbs Chapter 1:

  1. The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;
  2. To know wisdom and instruction; to comprehend the words of understanding;
  3. To receive the discipline of wisdom, justice, and right, and equity;
  4. To give prudence to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion;
  5. That the wise man may hear, and increase in learning, and the man of understanding may attain unto wise counsels;
  6. To understand a proverb, and a figure; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
  7. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; but the foolish despise wisdom and discipline.

As Charlie Kirk z"l  himself stated in his videos he knew Judaism's foundational text the Old Testament -The Tanakh, or Hebrew Bible.

Though Charlie Kirk in his, Turning Point USA campaign may not have used the verses of Chapter 1 from the Book of Proverbs specifically as the format of his engagement.

It's intention was a common thread in his "familiar digital format: 'Ask me anything.'" campaign to educate the mislead mistaught youth of America.
